Bowen said he does not know what the developer will do next but they do have the option of starting over from the beginning, perhaps at a different location.

 

This message was sent to neighborhood association leaders on Friday by Vic Bell, Neighborhood Coordinator:

 

“The Applicant in the case of BZ-347 and PUD 70 – Encore on Memorial has temporarily withdrawn these applications, and so the item on the City Council agenda for February 22, 2010 has been removed from the agenda. The City of Bixby anticipates the Applicant will resubmit these applications for a new development site and with a new site plan. These will be advertised to the public in the newspaper, by sign posting on the new development site, and by mailed notices as required by law. A new public hearing will be held before the Planning Commission, with the date, time, and location of the meeting advertised to the public.”
